The Beginning, The Middle and The End
This morning we awoke to find our friend Sarah was missing. We searched the house but could not find a sign of her.
As we looked, Alex called our attention to the strangest thing in the backyard garden. It was some sort of spaceship. We all gathered round to examine the foreign object.
Upon closer inspection, we noticed a small plaque implanted in the ground. “I Looked For Sarah Everywhere,” it read.
. . . to the pawnbrokers shop.
We saw the sights and attractions that make our neighbourhood great . . .
. . . and so often go unnoticed . . .
but still no sign of Sarah.
|
the final clue led us to an unusual wooden box. We pried it open, eager to see what was inside. When we had finally opened it up, we were shocked by what we found.
It was a note from Sarah herself! The note read: “Dear friends, I know that you have probably been worried about me, I apologize for my disappearance. Unfortunately, I had to go back to my planet in the future. I am you see, a time travelling alien spy from Venus. There was no way for me to tell you, and trust that you could keep this shocking secret, without first testing your allegiance to me through this treasure hunt. I will be back my friends, as my planet plans to make our selves known to your world soon enough. Live long and prosper. - Sarah”.
Needless to say, we were surprised by this revelation. We were, however, also very happy for we knew, someday soon, Sarah would be back. Time travelling alien spy from Venus or not, she was still our friend.
